In 1951 the Renville County Hospital was dedicated and opened as a new health opportunity for residents in the area. Over the years, services have evolved, and buildings have been renovated to meet the dynamic needs of our community. In 2007, Rural Health Clinics located in the cities of Hector, Olivia and Renville were integrated into the hospital business when Prairie Family Practice, a physician owned clinic system, was purchased by the hospital to establish what we recognize today as the RC Hospital and Clinics. In 2015, a new medical center in Olivia opened. Commitment to innovate patient-centered care continues.
Today RC Hospital & Clinics is made up of:
- Outpatient clinics in Olivia, Hector, and Renville
- A 16- bed critical access hospital in Olivia
- Over 170 employees
