What would I do as a volunteer?
|
There are many volunteer opportunities available throughout our facilities. Volunteers work directly with patients and clients, assisting staff in transporting, visiting or reading to patients. Our volunteers provide valuable support in non-patient care areas assisting with hospital tours, data entry, filing and answering phones.

How do I apply? |
As a volunteer, you become a member of our RCH&C health care team. Because our patient health and safety is of utmost importance, our volunteers go through a screening and orientation process similar to that of our hospital staff.
Volunteer screening and orientation takes about three to four weeks from the time we receive your completed application.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, and commit to working a regular weekly schedule for three to six months.
